Hi Peggy, thank you for your prayers. I was just passing through Lake Delton a couple of days ago and it is still a bit of shock to see the empty lake. I did notice that Dell Creek, the creek that use to feed into the lake, is still flowing. The creek is doing what is does naturally, to flow into the Wisconsin River.

Love, Neshi.

Neshi,

Thank you for sharing your memories of Lake Delton. Nature's "draining" of the lake is cause for wonder and awe. It serves as a reminder, I believe, that we are really not in charge. Whenever such a disaster of this magnitude (the widespread flooding in Wisconsin and Iowa) occurs it serves as an opportunity for reflection, acceptance, and transcendance.

I join you in your prayer for healing and blessing for both the people affected by this flooding and nature as they find balance.

Peggy
